Advertising on Tegaki E

As you may have seen, most of the Google Ads served on this site have nothing to do with the site's content or its audience at all (and so no one is clicking on them, so money is getting tight for server costs), so we are going try something else out. We know that Tegaki E's users have a better understanding of the audience than some robot, and who knows, they might have some sites they want to promote as well. This is going to be a trial run to see how much interest there is for user submitted advertising.

Here's the deal (and this may change based on how well things work out for everyone). There are going to be two types of advertisements available for the moment. Banner ad at the bottom (468x60, 30kb max), and skyscraper on the sidebar (160x600, max 80kb). The cost will be 5 dollars USD for 2 weeks for a banner ad, and 10 dollars USD for 2 weeks for a sidebar skyscraper.

For the moment, we're accepting Paypal only, depending on how successful this trial is, I'll try to put up a more streamlined approach to this entire thing.

Anecdotal evidence of ad effectiveness
One of our sponsors has reported to me that he has gotten an 800% increase in dA watchers since advertising with a banner ad. Something to consider, if that sort of thing is important to you.

How to submit an advertisement:
Send payment via paypal to advertising@tegakie.com (or if you are using a credit card, paypal: advertisingcc@tegakie.com), with a note containing a link to the address you want to advertise, and a link to the image you want to use.
You can also send that information to tewi@unowen.net if you wish (in addition to the payment sent to one of the addresses above).
You should see your advertisement up within a day, and your ad will last no less than two weeks (14 days) from the moment it is put up.
If your ad is not of the right dimensions, it will be made the right size for you (and it will probably look horrible, so please make sure your ads are the right size before you send them).
We reserve the right to deny ads with non-worksafe content, or ads that link to sites that are not work safe, obscene, malicious, etc. If you're not sure, email us first before sending payment.

Some fine print:
You will be sharing the adspace with others. We will try to provide an equal amount of impressions for everyone.
Your ads will be up for two weeks. If the trial ends before then, your ad will still get the full 2 weeks you paid for it.
Costs may change in the future, if they go up, you won't be charged more for the time you've already paid for. If they go down, you won't be refunded.
