Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea
October 4, 2008 on 1:04 pm by hcnine | In Music | 1 CommentAccording to the Music Index page, there have not yet been any Hong Meiling themes posted yet. Then again, the Music Index page hasn’t been updated in about 6 months or so.
Anyways, here’s a chill remix of Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea by UI-70, from their latest album, Synchrotronic Resonator. Yeah, China! Drink that tea!
P.S.: If anyone wants to perform the daunting task of updating the Music Index page from whenever to current, send me an email (hcnine, unowen.net, yeah you know, that one), and I’ll send you the code for the page (and my everlasting love).

September 28, 2008 on 5:49 pm by hcnine | In Music | 1 CommentYa so I was like chilling on the ‘net, right, ignoring dozens of emails pleading to update the site (yeah, I’m that popular (not really please send me emails)), when this song pops up on my playlist and I was all, “man I gotta share this with the internet, for real” and so I rush to the site and I guess redeyes came back from the dead to update the site before I did???? Apparently he has some sort of ESP for lessening my accomplishments. Either way, it’s probably a good thing for you, the gentle reader.
This is a song from Alice’s Emotion’s C74 album Scarlet Eyes, a remix of Hina’s theme from MoF, Fate’s Dark Side. Alice’s Emotion consists mostly of RedAlice, the guy who made Taboo Tears You Up, the famous U.N. Owen was Her remix. Remember that one? Yeah, I remember my computer couldn’t run the Flash animation made for it without freezing…
The Melancholy of Tsundere Alice
August 12, 2008 on 11:32 am by hcnine | In Music | 10 CommentsWell, well, well. What have we here? An update?! With Comiket 74 looming, I figured we should break the news: our very own Redeyes is not going to C74 to bring us live, on the scene updates! In commemoration of this grand non-event, here’s an old-ass song from Silver Forest’s 2007 album, Sentence.
Silver Forest - ツンデレアリスの憂鬱 - Instrumental
You’ll notice you’ve never heard this song in any Touhou game you’ve played. That’s because it’s completely original! In fact, the only ties it has to Touhou are the lyrics, which, quite conveniently, are missing in this version. Whatever. It’s not like any of you should care - according to a survey not so recently held by Redeyes himself, 90% (give or take) of western Touhou “fans” don’t even play the games themselves, and only 10% (give or take) of the remainder play beyond Easy Mode, which, as everyone knows, doesn’t actually count.
Unfunny joke was here

Are They U.N. Owens
July 1, 2008 on 2:19 am by hcnine | In Uncategorized | 4 CommentsBreaking another no-update combo with a Youtube! I’ve been meaning to post this forever, but forgot. Watch the whole thing - you’ll figure it out quickly, and it’s pretty amazing how everything fits together so nicely.
This could sort of be even this site’s unofficial theme song or something, I mean, it’s pretty much what we’re all about.
Rage
May 28, 2008 on 9:41 pm by redeyes | In Music | 7 CommentsSomeone called ViViX released a small 2-track CD that seems to have been bundled in with SWR. Here’s the second track - it’s Suika’s theme from IaMP, but I can’t remember what the original track was called! Oh well. No album art for you either. Sorry!
Well, if we’re talking about SWR… a really fun game, huh? Maybe a few of you readers can play some games with me sometime. I can’t help using that Sakuya’s World spellcard though - normally my opponent manages to completely graze through anything I make during it, and the warmup animation is way too long to get them while they’re stunned in the air or something. Stopping time’s always fun, though. I haven’t even played any characters besides Sakuya, Reisen and Komachi - too much fun. I was looking forward to the Subterranean Animism demo more than this, but turns out SWR’s proving more fun. Probably because I already beat the SA demo on Hard…
竹取飛翔 ~ Lunatic Princess
May 27, 2008 on 8:37 pm by redeyes | In Music | 4 CommentsWell, looks like something caused me to come back from the grave. Looks like this place went downhill in a big way since I died, I wonder if anyone’s still reading~
Today’s track is from one of the new Reitaisai 5 albums - UI-70’s latest offering, “Riddles Covered With Flowers”. They never did a dedicated Imperishable Night album like they did for PCB and EoSD, but that’s not their game anymore it seems. Well, let’s just keep going, with a track that has been due for a long time. Their latest album is a far cry from their last one, that went all relaxing and downbeat on us. It’s good stuff, get it.
There’s an old track for you. So, how about the new games? The Subterranean Animism demo is good fun - I think personalised bombs make the MoF system work at least a little better, although I think I like the older collision detection a bit better. SWR kinda stole the thunder though - it’s fun too, Komachi is a really fun character to play as, although I still don’t fully understand what some of the cards do. The weather effects can be quite annoying too. I guess I’ll save some of my rants for later updates.
Aquilon Feast
May 20, 2008 on 1:10 am by hcnine | In Music | No CommentsWay boring update incoming! Song’s good though.
Here is a remix of Mountain of Faith’s Extra Stage, entitled Aquilon Feast, from L.I.C.’s C73 album Coure.
Yes, I'm satisfied. But now I'm pretty much alone again.
