The collection of music from Reitaisai 6 so far is pretty impressive. Here’s a little review on what I’ve obtained so far. I’m no pro at describing genres and stuff, so bear with me.

A notice of a doll -華霞魅-kasumi- This is a little 3-song album from an unfamiliar artist. It is decent, kind of choral rock. It is kind of poorly mixed, though.

XL Project – At the Sacrifice Techno is where I get terrible at subgenres! I dunno this is like easy listening techno ok?? Not the bad kind of BOMP BOMP BOMP techno. It’s actually really nice! There are also 2 vocal songs that are pretty great.

bloom – ARM (IOSYS) This album is entirely ARM! It is pretty amazing. Some of the songs are very much like Plus-Tech Squeezebox if you’re familiar. Others are that crazy kind of mixing that sounds like it’s a bunch of random sounds thrown together but it works so well. There’s also some softer and jazzier lounge stuff. This is a must-have.

Chaos Flare – ALiCE’S EMOTiON A very good Alice’s Emotion album! This album has an amazing miko song about the jealousy of Parsee. There’s another slower cute song that’s a remix of Grave of Being (Kanako’s Stage). The other “cooler” vocal songs are very enjoyable too.

Dist+ – UI-70 Delicious UI-70 rock/metal. I am a sucker for Touhou metal when it’s done well I’m such a loser. But this album isn’t a pure metalfest, there’s some slower paced and jazzier stuff. It’s a nice mix. Some of these songs are old if I’m not mistaken (I’ve at least heard the last track on TOHO ROCK!! if I recall).

GODS – Thousand Leaves Metal againnnnnn… This album has a metal version of Grave of Being! I’ve really wanted to hear that and they did it very nicely. This album goes in order of the arrangers. The first, Bach, is full-on metal. It’s very nicely mixed and produced. The second, 川瀬, is a mix of rock and more classical instruments, kind of what you expect from Touhou I guess. Lastly there’s a single guest track by IRON-CHINO that comes out of nowhere with an amazingly produced hard rock version of Suwako’s stage music.

HEART CHAIN – SYNC.ART’S What am I supposed to say about SYNC.ART’S?? Full of amazing vocal tracks. A very “cool” miko song. I don’t know what else to say ok this album won’t disappoint you if you’re a SYNC.ART’S fan!

Lunatic Beat – Silver Forest unnnggghhhh where’s the one awesome super-cute song I used to be able to look forward to on your albums… On the plus side there’s a rock mix of Candid Friend and I am in desperate need of more remixes of that. Setting aside my no-cute disappointment it’s got very cool vocal remixes. Better than the more recent Silver Forest albums I’ve heard!

[UPDATE] Turns out Silver Forest had another album! 聖少女サクリファイス, albeit short, has the cute I wanted — and it’s a Kirby Sky High remix no less! Kudos, Silver Forest. Kudos. The other songs on this album are very nice too! Starting out with a very cool vocal mix of 3rd Eye.

R! T! S! – COOL&CREATE A short album with a new song (album title), a 20 minute mix of songs, and a famicom version Night of Nights. Get it if you’re a fan of beatmario lol

SAVAGE FLAMES – IRON-CHINO Oh look it’s IRON-CHINO again! A fully death metal album for those who are suckers for it like me. Great production quality etc. Songs metal’d include Be of Good Cheer!, Hartmann’s Youkai, Remilia’s theme, Nuclear Fusion, etc.

ShotShellI – DarkPHOENiX I am not familiar with this artist, but this album’s alright. Kind of slow-paced. There’s a Miku song at the end derp

The Secret of Alice – BITPLANE This is a very neat album that’s kind of half music box-sounding music and half piano arrangement. It’s definitely worth getting if you enjoy piano arrangements.

Wind Gazer – SOUND HOLIC A rock album from Sound Holic! I am disappointed just because I love their jazzier stuff so much, but this album is good. English vocals you can’t understand!

東方月響歌 ～Ballad of Moon～ – Yellow Zebra Hey I really like their vocalist! I feel bad for having nothing more to say but this is one of the better albums.

東方聖水祭 – Innocent Key Hooray! There’s one of those long songs at the beginning with all of the vocalists, I love those. Full of catchy cute funny and cool songs. Innocent Key is quickly becoming my #1; I’ll be listening to this one a lot. One song, Maid ? Dailylife, is a vocal version of STAY WITH ME FOREVER,SIGNORINA.

東方超都魔転 – IOSYS They have some really good cute songs this time as usual. And those weird songs with unattractive male vocals! It’s hard to review IOSYS albums past “like it” or “don’t like it”. But I think this one’s pretty good. It has that usual mix of the types/styles of songs they compile. Anyways, the cute songs are always the highlight for me and they did good this time. I don’t regret getting your baby pink shirt, IOSYS.

流麗祭彩 – 龍道SP This is a compilation album which features MiYAMO, Swing Holic (with A~YA), REDALiCE, and dobu-usagi among others. Well albums like these are always worth getting since there’s bound to be a few tracks you like.

There’s totally no entry about the Undefined Fantastic Object demo being realized but hey it’s out guys!

Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea

According to the Music Index page, there have not yet been any Hong Meiling themes posted yet. Then again, the Music Index page hasn’t been updated in about 6 months or so.

Anyways, here’s a chill remix of Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea by UI-70, from their latest album, Synchrotronic Resonator. Yeah, China! Drink that tea!
